About The House of Accumulated Beauties

In November 2017, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (Boston) named Peter DiMuro its inaugural Choreographer in Residence for the year 2018. Returning to Isabella’s original want to gather music, dance and performance in the Palace and grounds, ISGM sought to create a residency for choreographers. Over nine months, DiMuro immersed himself in the life and curiosities of Isabella Stewart Gardner and her accumulated beauties through research in the museum archives and dialogue with staff and guests of the museum.
