About Eleanor

Eleanor Hullihan is a dance artist and teacher based in Brooklyn, NY. She has performed with Beth Gill, John Jasperse, Andrew Ondrejcak, Sufjan Stevens, Jessica Dessner, Sarah Michelson, Jennifer Monson, Tere O’Connor, Rashaun Mitchell + Silas Riener and Katy Pyle (asubtout), among others. She currently makes sound/movement/video work with Asli Bulbul and James Jolliff. She received early training from North Carolina School of the Arts, ADF, Tisch School of the Arts and S.E.A.D. She continues to study the Cunningham technique, ballet with Janet Panetta, Iyengar yoga with Genny Kapuler, Pilates and Gyrotonics with Clarice Marshall and various modalities that come her way. Eleanor teaches Pilates, conditioning and strength at American Ballet Theater’s JKO school, Sarah Lawrence College and privately in New York City.
