About Vanessa

Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Vanessa graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a Bachelor in Fine Arts (UNCSA). While at UNCSA she was introduced to Cunningham Technique by Brenda Daniels. Vanessa has taken part in many of the Merce Cunningham Trust Fellowship Workshops working under the direction of Kimberly Bartosik, Lisa Boudreau, Dylan Crossman, Jean Freebury, Jennifer Goggans, Meg Harper, Patricia Lent, Jamie Scott, Daniel Squire, Robert Swinston, Carol Teitelbaum, Melissa Toogood and Andrea Weber. Vanessa is a member of Cornfield Dance and performed at the American Dance Festival in 2019 with Bill Young/Colleen Thomas & Co.
